Wellness is multi-faceted. Most commonly people consider diet, exercise, work/life balance, mental health and financial management to be the key contributing factors. In reality every aspect of our lives contributes to our overall health and well-being, so things like our relationships, social connectivity, family routines, cultural and religious traditions, occupational status, good/bad habits, vices/virtues, lifestyle management and organisational skills are all part of our personal wellness management.

Added to which, one size definitely doesn't fit all!

​Body of Health was established in 2014 by Alison Babbage.
​

Alison’s professional life has evolved and centred around health and wellness, and on conveying  the value of wellness practices to people.
​
During her career she has worked as an Educator, Consultant, Presenter, and held Business Development and Leadership positions within the Health and Wellness Fields. These include Social Research, Thalassotherapy, Health Spas, Health Administration and Management, Sports, Weight and Obesity Management.

In recent years Ally also created Body of Health fitness & recreation, one of the first Health and Wellness Clinics of it’s kind on the Mornington Peninsula. In addition to the role of owner/manager of the clinic, she was also responsible for a series of weight and obesity management programmes and a variety of Wellness services.

Her areas of expertise include Developmental Coaching,  Sports Coaching, Training, Posture Assessment (specialising in workplace posture), Weight and Obesity Management, Nutrition, Fitness, Personal Development and Organisational Training.

Ally’s personal life also reflects her affinity and passion for healthy living. She is a Sports Coach, President of Eastside Hawks Women’s Volleyball Club, one of the most successful women’s State League volleyball clubs in Australia. At 55 Ally still plays State League Volleyball herself, and has over the years competed at County, State or National level in four sports, as well as in two World Masters events.

Workplace Wellness and Developmental Coaching presented themselves as a natural progression for Ally.
